Excerpt from what was shared with the women at Porter County Jail (6/30/13)
Women of Worth (from the bible) It’s not who you expect – Not Queen Esther who risked her life for her people or the Virgin Mary who risked her reputation for the birth of the King but the Prostitute, the Sinner and the Adulterer. God used these women to teach the religious leaders about love and worship and to evangelize the city.
John 4: Samaritan Woman at the well – Jesus commended her for speaking truth regarding her current situation/sin.

Luke 7:36-50 A Sinful Woman Forgiven – Jesus told her that her sins were forgiven her and that her faith has saved her.
John 8:2-11 The woman caught in adultery – Jesus told her go and sin no more.

The Lord valued you before you ever prayed; before you ever cried out; before you ever worshiped him.
So how do we get to the place where we feel like women of worth?
•Confess – be real – we’re not hiding anything from God - he already knows the truth
•Forgiveness – believe we’re forgiven
•Repentance – don’t do it anymore. We have to stop doing the things that pull us down and being around the people that tear us down.
